There are many things that make people happy and feel confident about themselves. At BPI Dental we believe we are offering you the opportunity to feel more confident about your smile and ultimately with yourself. Your visit to BPI Dental is not just about fixing a problem but life changing treatment that can restore confidence and bring back that smile.

The dental implant clinic has been open for specialist treatments since 1997. However there has been a dental practice at 115 Court Oak Road, Birmingham for well over 60 years. Dr Harold Edwards originally began the practice in 1947 and worked for almost 30 years with his partner and brother-in-law Dr H M Zeffert. When Dr Edwards retired the practice was taken over by one of their associates Dr Anthony Foster who became a partner in 1968. Dr Foster acquired a reputation as an excellent dentist and he worked here full time until 1998.

Dr Boota S Ubhi took over the practice in 1997 after completing his postgraduate specialist studies. Since then the practice has seen major changes including having been renovated twice. The most recent ‘makeover’ saw the addition of consulting rooms, a dedicated surgical suite and a large teaching/lecture theatre added to the building. New staff facilities and a purpose built waiting room were also added to the building.

All the dental implant and cosmetic treatments discussed on this website are carried out at the Birmingham Periodontal & Implant Centre. To visit our practice website please click BPI Dental

CT Scanning Facilities at the dental implant clinic Birmingham

Gendex CB500 CT Scanner at the Dental Implant Clinic

Gendex CB500 CT Scanner

The Cone Beam CT scanner we use is the Gendex CB500 I-CAT scanner is specially designed for dental use. This is an extremely safe machine with probably the lowest radiation dose of any machine available in the market. As a comparison to an hospital dental CT scan, it has approximately 10% of the radiation dose. It is extremely comfortable and unlike a hospital scanner it is like sitting on a chair and the maximum scan time is less than 23 seconds.

The practice is located in at 115 Court Oak Road, Harborne, Birmingham B17 9AA, UK.
